You are viewing a gorgeous English silverplate and faux tortoiseshell jewellery box on a stand. I hope the photos do this stunning piece some justice, it's certainly better in the flesh and would make for a great addition to any collection.
The hallmark is shown in close up on the bottom of the piece. The quality of the crafting is superb - check out the details to the handles and the trim and the wonderful lions head handles.
