It\'s easy to make smaller by taking out the two leaves (which each measure 22 inches) to make various different size combinations. You can even just have the two pedestal ends together for the smallest option. 

The table is on pedestal legs which in turn are on castors so it is easy to move around. The table is in mahogany with a walnut crossbanding to the perimeter. The table is solid and sturdy, ready for home use right away with no scratches or other surface damage.

You are viewing a 13 foot Regency style English pedestal table in flame mahogany with a matching set of 10 Queen Anne chairs. I hope the photos do this stunning set some justice, it\'s certainly better in the flesh. 

The table sits firmly on the three pedestal bases which are on castors so you can move this around easily. When fully extended it is 13 foot long - and more than comfortably accomodates ten people - you can fit more if you wanted. This makes it great for hosting large scale dinner parties. The great thing is with these tables there flexibility. When you don\'t need it so large you can unextend it by taking out the two extra leaves - you can even use it with just two pedestals, there is a variety of different size combinations. 

The finish to the flame mahogany is amazing - look at the grain of the wood in the photos - and the table is offered in very good condition with no scratches, solid and stable, ready for home use right away. The table is a Victorian extending diner that works by a winding mechanism at one end (please see close up photo). The table has four leaves each measuring 18 inches so there are numerous different combinations with this table. A leaf is an extra section of the table you can drop in. There are two D ends at either end of the table each measuring 4 feet. You could have just the two D ends together and the table would be round. Fully extended it is 14 feet long - and this would sit 12 people more than comfortably, perfect for large scale dinner parties and functions.

The table is an exender that works via a handle that slots in at the end and you turn and it extends - and you slot the leaves in according to your purpose. It\'s great for large dinner parties and can then be made smaller for daily use. Check out the lovely chunky legs in the true Victorian style - there is even a leg under the middle of the table. The crafting on this piece is superb - solid and sturdy, built to last and this will serve you for generations of use. 

It\'s a gorgeous set of 10 English Queen Ann style dining chairs in mahogany. The set consists of two arms and eight side chairs. The main feature of course is the deliciously carved backsplat which curls at the top. When you consider the amount of work that goes into these it\'s breathtaking.

You are viewing an incredible dining table hand crafted from walnut and with intricate marquetry inlay work made famous on the stretch of the Amalfi coast in Italy this was bought from. The table comes with the set of matching 8 chairs as shown in the picture. We can safetly say this is the ultimate dining set and would last you for many generations, hence becoming a great heirloom. When fully extended by the leaf system this seats 8 people more than comfortably and 10 easily. The table extends easily by the wind up mechanism where you insert the big handle in one hand (please see close up picture) and everything is of course provided.

The Queen Ann dining chair is a design classic favourite through the centuries for the mix of comfort (with the high backs) and elegance. They're a solid chunky chair and very comfortable to sit into. This set consists of 8 side chairs and 2 arm chairs.

The high backs are hand carved and feature the scroll design to the top and the curved backsplat. The legs are gently cabriole and feature a shell motif to the top. These are incredibly solid and sturdy with tight joints so wobble free. The seats have just been reupholstered so are free from any previous owner smells such as pets and smoke, always a bonus.
