You are viewing an absolutely wonderful English rustic Barley twist table and Windsor chair set. This really is perfect for that farmhouse, rustic look in your kitchen and both chairs and table are hand crafted from the finest oak.

The distinctive barley twist legs are what give this table its name, hand carved as they are and depicting barley twists. Its a very solid and chunky table and would look equally at home in the kitchen as in the dining room.

The oak has a lovely veneer to it and this has just benefitted from a polish at the restorers so it is ready for home use right away. To the side and the top are the hand carved mini-alcove designs all around the edge which also gives the table a refectory style. There is a lot of craftmanship gone into this fine specimen. It is extrememly solid and sturdy and offered in perfect condition,and again, is ready for home use right away. This table will last a lifetime.

The table is offerd with the set of a set of 8 Windsor chairs also made from the finest English oak. The set of 8 consists of two arm chairs and six side chairs. They are a design classic and perhaps - in our humble opinion - one of the best style of chairs ever made. They are flexible in that they look equally at home around a dining table as they do in the kitchen.

You are viewing an incredible French provincial dining table and ladderback chair set. The set consists of eight chairs - two arms chairs and six side chairs. They fit lovely around the table and that's the great thing about this set up, you can use it in a kitchen or for a more formal dining set up. For those of you looking to create that snug, cosy rustic farmhouse look then this really is the piece de resistance.

This is a lovely set of eight French Country oak ladderback chairs with rush seats. They came from the Normandy area of France. The chairs have ladderbacks with a shaped crest. The legs are gracefully curved with turned feet. They have stretchers from the front to the back. The color is a rich dark brown oak with a warm patina. They were recently polished and waxed in our workshops and are ready to go into your home.  The rush seats are shaped and the backs are slightly slanted, making the chairs very comfortable. They are very solid and sound.
